"I was excited to do this criterium for the first time because it was close to my new hometown and I saw many friends there. The field was decently sized and I was ready to race. I felt very fortunate to have my teammates by my side; Jennifer Valente, Sofia Arreola and Ariane Bonhomme. Just barely missing out on the victory we had a great opening day of Speed Week and i was really happy with how everyone worked with such commitment." - Emily
