Get to know Dani!

Danielle (Dani) Morshead grew up in the cycling paradise that is the Bay Area, but the most riding she did growing up was the 8 miles to high school and a bit of unicycling around her neighborhood. She won a junior national championship for rowing in her junior year of high school and also won both Head of the Charles Regatta and an Ivy League Championship during her first year at Brown University before taking up the bike in 2016.

Dani found rapid success, upgrading to collegiate A’s in a few months and to category 1 in just over a year. The following 5 years consisted of numerous significant podiums in the pro fields as she gained experience and honed her racing skills. She moved back to California after college and developed a career outside of cycling.

She is now a marketing and communications manager at the National Eczema Association. When she’s not racing or working, you can find her playing volleyball, tennis, surfing, or walking in the woods or on the beach with her dog.

I used to bite my nails, but found that if I keep them painted, I don’t bite them. You’ll rarely see me without painted nails.
